Rachel Duvall
CEO
Rachel Duvall is the founder and acting CEO of the program. She is also on staff as Ladies Ministry Assistant of The Most Excellent Way ministry at the First Baptist Church of Panama City, as well as a contract worker with the Bay County Jail, hired to meet the spiritual needs of the female population, aiding them with re-entry upon release. In these roles, she has seen the immense need for transitional housing for women and opened the Humble House Transitional Recovery Housing program in September 2020 in Panama City, Florida.
Brittany Seachrist
Tallahassee Managing Director
Brittany Seachrist is the Managing Director of our Tallahassee ministry and is also currently employed with Teen Challenge's Men's Center, as an Administrative Assistant. Brittany formerly served in the Most Excellent Way ministry in Panama City for 6 years and worked as a case manager at Bethel Village, a women's faith based recovery program. She has a heart for women who are struggling with addiction and has the desire to duplicate the ministry that helped set her free 6 years ago.
Christina Brannon
Panama City Managing Director
Christina Brannon is the Managing Director of our Panama City ministry and is also currently employed as an office administrator with Arrow Pest Service. Additionally, she serves with the Most Excellent Way Ministry at First Baptist Church of Panama City. In the past, she worked as the Shelter Manager and recovery case manager at Bethel Village where she graduated from their recovery program. October 25th of 2021 will mark 8 years of sobriety. Christina is a certified recovery peer specialist and has an AA degree. Her passion is watching God work in her life and in the lives of the women He entrusts into their care through the ministry.
Abby Johnson
Panama City Transitional Case Manager
Abby Johnson is a Transitional Case Manager for the ladies at Humble House. Working directly with each resident, one-on-one, she monitors and assists them through their recovery process. Being a lifetime Panama City resident, Abby has a desire to see the local church reach this community with the gospel. She graduated from the Baptist College of Florida with a Bachelors in Christian Education and Leadership. Additionally, Abby is the Kids Director of 5 Bridges Church. Her joy is in sharing the gospel and helping ladies establish a solid foundation on the Word of God.
Elizabeth Thomas
Chief Financial Officer
Elizabeth was chosen as our CFO in mid-2021. She has more than 15 years of experience spanning finance, payroll, budget management and other financial services. Prior to joining Humble House, Elizabeth was CFO for the Panama City Rescue Mission. She participates in mentoring, recognition, youth services, health and human services, diversity councils and community outreach initiatives with several local organizations.
Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Maryland GC with a minor in Business Administration. She holds an Associate degree in Banking, Finance and Accounting from Southwestern Illinois College.
